Recently, the self-climbing wind power maintenance crane developed and produced by Nucleon has been successfully commissioned in the east plant area, which will completely change the traditional way of large-tonnage crawler crane maintenance for wind turbines, greatly reducing wind turbine maintenance costs and promoting the vigorous development of the wind energy industry.

In recent years, with the global warming, the new energy industry has developed rapidly. Among them, the green energy of wind power has developed most rapidly. As of the end of 2014, China's cumulative wind power installed capacity accounted for 31.01% of the global installed capacity, ranking first in the world's cumulative cumulative installed wind power capacity. With the coming of wind power maintenance and repair cycles, wind power equipment maintenance has drawn great attention from the entire wind power industry. At present, the maintenance of wind power equipment is mainly carried out by the large crawler crane, which has a long maintenance period and high cost. In order to solve this important factor restricting the development of the wind power industry, the engineers of Nucleon successively went to domestic and overseas wind power manufacturing companies to conduct research and compare the current status of domestic and overseas wind power maintenance industries. The key designers were organized to use Triz's innovative theory to conduct research and develop designs. The scheme was discussed in detail, the advantages and disadvantages, and potential safety hazards in the process of using were analyzed. Finally, the research and development scheme was finalized for prototype trial production, and the trial operation was successful in recent days.

The self-climbing wind power maintenance crane developed by Nucleon is mainly composed of four parts: adaptive non-damaged clamping climbing system, high hoisting folding lifting system, hydraulic system and electrical control system. The adaptive non-damaging climbing system contacts the wind power tower through four groups of arm devices using special polymer materials to increase the friction between the two while minimizing the damage to the tower. Group arms and legs are used in groups of two to achieve the entire climbing process through a telescopic oil cylinder. The high hoisting folding hoisting system is mainly composed of a hoist, a slewing mechanism, a telescopic luffing device, etc., which can realize the vertical and horizontal movement of items. Easy to transport. Adopting two sets of variable proportional control hydraulic system not only improves the safety of the entire hydraulic system, but also reduces equipment energy consumption and hidden safety hazards, and provides guarantee for the reliable operation of the entire equipment. At present, this product has declared 4 national utility model patents and 1 national invention patent.

The promotion and application of self-climbing wind power maintenance cranes will greatly reduce maintenance time, reduce maintenance costs, and subvert traditional wind power maintenance methods, and will have a huge positive impact on the booming development of the global wind power industry.
